It is known that Prishvin valued his diaries. He came from diaries as a writer. But in order for disparate recordings to become a work of art, additional work is needed. In Prishvin’s first book, “In the Land of Wild Birds”, the desire to discover an unknown world is noticeable. In the following works, “The Bun” and “The Black Arab”, there is a noticeable desire to get closer to the myth. Here the images relate to each other as tonalities in a piece of music. Prishvin had another way of creating a work from a diary. He selected records and arranged them inside a complex hierarchy of parts and chapters. The main image in the book “Eyes of the Earth” consists of the interconnection of images of individual miniatures, chapters and parts. The complex hierarchy of individual images there is a way to create a complete work of art.
