The article deals with the role of the fragment genre with its openness, intentional incompleteness, dialogics principle in V.V. Rozanov’s literary and philosophical heritage. Besides the significance for Rozanov the genre model of romantic fragment, the heritage of Apollon Grigoriev, W. Dilthey, as well as a certain continuation of the Rozanov tradition in M.M. Bakhtin’ legacy are concerned.
